About Me

My path to becoming a full-time artist was anything but linear. I studied English Literature at Leeds University, nurturing a deep love for narrative. However, in a surprising turn, I spent the next two decades as a structural engineer, a career that honed my precision and gave me a profound appreciation for tangible form.

Yet, the creative pull never faded. I finally took a leap of faith to pursue my true passion: art. This transition allowed me to blend my technical background with my artistic vision, resulting in a unique style that bridges the gap between the analytical and the imaginative.

After dedicating myself to my art full-time, I began with painting and abstract ink works (as featured in my solo exhibition "Ordered Chaos"), but found my true calling in ceramics. This humble, ancient medium is now my primary passion—the perfect channel for my voice, allowing me to build not with steel and concrete, but with form, texture, and fire.
