Neolithic Echo Jar

This unique small jar is inspired by the timeless beauty of handcrafted prehistoric pottery. Drawing from the simple functional forms of Neolithic pots while also paying homage to later decorative techniques, this little piece encapsulates a broad span of ceramic history.

Made from locally sourced wild clay, its naturally high iron content produces a rich, deep red hue when fired. The body is adorned with a thin band of white terra sigillata, treated to create a striking and varied texture.

The lid features a handle of handmade cordage, crafted from dried wild dandelion stalks.
