Small Vessel #2

This intimate hand-built vessel carries the subtle weight of earth and fire. The surface, left unglazed, bears the raw textures of the clay: deep, volcanic blacks softened by veins of white clay, marbling through the piece. The roughened body invites touch, contrasting with the smoother crown.

The vase embodies wabi-sabi — beauty in imperfection, transience, and the natural traces of process. It is less an object of ornament than a meditation on material, time, and transformation.
